Zoomer faggot here
I scored around 35k in JEE mains, not that good yeah.
I am already a programmer, here are some of the things I am good at
1) Machine learning + Deep Learning (Specially NLP)
2) Backend using PHP, Flask (Python) and node.js
3) Decent knowledge in low level (have made my own compiler and kernel (os) from scratch)
4) Decent knowledge in networking (implemented a basic p2p voip network from scratch) and a decent knowledge in blockchain and stuff
I have done minor sysadmin and webdev for small startups and a bit of freelancing
Now coming to my question here. I am already quite decent in programming and I really wanted to get into low level (OS and compiler projects are my recent addition and has got me interested into low level) and also into ML and deep learning. I am just not sure if low level will be a good choice as a career.
I thought that if I take ECE, I might be able to pursue CS side by side (as my previous projects in my high school years have already given me a headstart) and ECE will teach me electronics and signal processing and stuff which idk shit about.
