My advice to zoomer anon 10/07/2021 (Thu) 18:59:08 14525 Reply
>>14503 >Laptop >Under 20k get a good 40 k laptop in this Flipkart sale retard or maybe buy a second hand. Buying a 20k laptop is just a waste of money. You can't do shit. Shit battery life. Shit RAM. Also you're a JEE aspirant so you'll definitely need a laptop in future so why only invest 20k in something so valuable. Good laptops (~65k) are an investment imo they'll easily last for 4-6 years. I remember thinking just like you and ended up buying a 30k cheap Lenovo laptop in my High school. I regretted it yaar.

>>14525 Im not OP, but im also looking to buy a laptop in college. What are some laptops in the 65k or under price range that will run decent video games? Will they have good framerates like 90 fps?

>>15389 Long Answer: make sure it has 6-8 core processor with hyperthreading 250/500GB nvme SSD and empty HDD slot (incase you need more storage) 8GB ram and add another 8/16/32 in the second empty slot (will be much cheaper) Get one w dedicated graphics card... Nvidia/AMD graphics card (handlist like 10-15 laptops that come in ur range and use userbenchmark to compare the gpus) you can do gaming on integrated graphics too I used to play Paladins on linux w just integrated graphics (intel i7-9400H) and it was pretty good used to really hate nvidia's closed source drivers now I think things are better now i think For Framerates do you mean like FPS? because that would be performance dependent like CPU/GPU (how many frames your GPU is outputting per second) If you mean like Screen refresh rate that's monitor dependent... Higher Hz means you get to see more images in a second resulting in a more fluid display... it is pretty crucial to get high refrate monitors like 144Hz or even 240Hz if you're into competitive gaming but good ol 60 is just fine if you just watch youtube videos and play minecraft. I'm pretty sure you dont have some time boundation.... do your own research wait for some festive offer like Christmas or Holi Short Answer: https://www.flipkart.com/msi-gf63-thin-core-i7-10th-gen-8-gb-1-tb-hdd-256-gb-ssd-windows-10-home-4-graphics-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1650-max-q-60-hz-10scxr-1617in-10sc-610in-gaming-laptop/p/itm1e259df16e2f5?

>>15436 Found this same specs (except the 120Hz) https://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-Legion-Gaming-Phantom-82AU00KFIN/dp/B08SK1GN5J but 20,000+ isse acha hain monitor hi lelena 20,000-25000 range mein 120 kya 240Hz curved oled gaming monitor aajayenge 144Hz monitors comeby in 10k-15k range saving u 5-10k and if you're gonna argue on mobility than Idk which train-station travelling you're taking your laptop to for gaming... all gaming laptops are always plugged 24/7 because of tatti batterylife that it's almost a pc and you wouldn't require the monitor for regular tasks or taking them college or something
