Both seppukud before Berlin fell, this is from Nuremberg trial's psych eval.
I IQmatch Albert Speer btw. I'd definitely want to be the logistics and armaments guy if I ever joined a war cabinet and Speer was god tier at it.
He literally increased German production while the Ruhr bombings were being stepped up and then sped up and kept producing synthetic fuel even when the Ruhr was getting bombed multiple times daily. He's the reason the entire Wehrmacht didn't just stop getting ammunition or fuel and in the end he decided to betray Hitler when he ordered the local NatSoc leaders to dismantle all industries and infra so Soviets or Allies didn't get anything intact and sped around from district so district as the entire government collapsed around him, with officials randomly disappearing without replacements, countermanding the order by pulling his rank. Probably saved post war Germany in the billions. He was also Hitler's chief architect so he had a lot of really cool plans, reading about the architecture they planned out makes you really regret history, Berlin would have been an exceptional city if those plans went though.
