What are some good anime to watch with your sister?
>>11779 wait wtf i never noticed that. Why would you even buy that rakhi? In fact, why are these being sold?
>>11845 Kek, in the original novel of that anime, the brother and sister actually developed romantic feelings with each other and eventually had a sexual relationship which the anime adaption completely removed.
>>11848 No more than pajeets are, the god of small things ended with two blood related opposite sex twin siblings having raw sex and is considered phenomenal modern Indian literature. If it were made into a PG 13 movie, it would remove that scene. Just accept the fact that your average fiction writers are sexual deviant and don't care much about muh social taboos.
>>11849 I've never read that shit and I don't doubt that majority of Indians haven't either. Meanwhile in the media plebs consume here incest is never portrayed in a positive way like the way nips make em.
>>11851 And no jap has even heard of the original grave of the fireflies novel either, to the point people think the anime is the original. Your point? I can't recall one work of Japanese fiction that is 'mainstream' (read by all)by your definition and had blood related incest as a theme, the closest I can think of is Oreimo and even that had lots of backlash because of the ending hence why the author of that series just rebooted the whole thing again but two people who are only "siblings" in the loosest definition.
>>11853 It's available online, it's kind of short but if I recall it was something about him rubbing her thighs or something.
>>11854 japan is really fucked up half the anime in existence is either boring or target audience is too young. of the remaining half, you have incest, hypersexualization of girls, perverse bullshit, and general cringe. i tried watching plunderer because it seemed funny. didn't make it through a single episode because half the time they're like SEX! PROTAGONIST SHOUJO NO BIG OPPAI DESU!!!. only a handful are tolerable and even fewer are worth watching.
Also the thing is Japs are kind of a sexually starved society. Mainly because they are a socially conservative culture as well as the women there usually having unrealistic standards particularly during their youth. So they really love the idea of easy to obtain romantic/sexual relationships as an escapist fantasy in the media they consoome, especially the otaku cretins who make a sizeable amount of the anime consoomers, this is why they love tropes such as a guy gaining a harem for just being a basic nice guy, a childhood friend who has a secret crush on MC or a tsundere little sister or motherly older sister (most japs are single child houses, to the point there are actual "rental sister" services where a guy pays a slut to act like his sister, so having a opposite sex sibling is kind of a fantasy many japs don't have the privilege of experiencing). It's not that they are actually obsessed with incest, it's that mostly of them are lonely and starved of interaction with opposite sex so they explore them in fiction a lot more than others. >>11851
>>11857 ... yaar india ki bhi to yahi kahani hai is that why urduwood keeps pumping out love stories like anything? >women there usually having unrealistic standards particularly during their youth japanese people are frail now because of globohomo shit, of course women will have unrealistic standards as per japanese standards if they want someone who isn't a 'nice guy' in your words or a 'fucking loser' in mine. but that bit about rental sisters is fucked up.
>>11856 Also >watches trash >gets trash And what were you expecting? Afaik the author's previous work was a sexual harem comedy. Really, what gave you the impression it was going to be some no sex comedy shit? Especially when it have such low rating on MAL? If you want a show that'll put off faggots like you who gets triggered at sex jokes, then don't watch anything that has below 7.5 or maybe even 7.8 in MAL.
>>11857 >mostly of them are lonely and starved of interaction with opposite sex so they explore them in fiction a lot more than others. there are a lot of places where people are sexually frustrated but there's something inherently wrong with japanese people who make incest media - implying a market for it exists and is big enough for studios to pay attention to. also a lot of non-animated japanese porn is really rapey (not that i don't think it's too sexy yaar) on the same lines, why are indians obsessed with sisters in law and why are whitoids obsessed with step-daughter and step-father BS?
>>11860 i saw it on yt it seemed funny. whatever. btw i did not get 'triggered', i think it's comparable sexual innuendos by stand up comedians - low hanging fruit.
>>11859 Japs were always like this, it's not some globohomo BS that led to this, if anything normalisation of promiscuity like in West might actually save them. At least some men would get their dicks wet and realise pussy isn't that great.
>>11861 A market for it exists because japs unlike in West or in India doesn't have a 'monopoly' in media and there are lots of independent and small media producers. So if a writer wants to make a story to publish to a large audience, he can go to one of these small publishers who will publish his story but in case of West or India of a writer want to publish his comic he needs to approach either Disney or one of its subsidiaries or Fox or its subsideries and in India approach maybe Tinkle or Champak which has much more rigorous screening process.
>>11864 ? that's the supply side i'm talking about the demand. they have a demand for incestuous shit in mainstream media. now why's that
>>11861 Point is its just free market capitalism in play in Japan, in West or in India the best bet you've if you want to publish something that doesn't satisfy the moral requirements of big corporations, your only hope is to publish it yourself like Savita Bhabi comics. But in Japan there will be media publishers to sell your shit.
>>11865 Which 'mainstream' show has incest again? Some seasonal harem romcom shit or some hentai you fapped to isn't 'mainstream'.
>>11866 that's true I want to see someone publish something lewd in india. would be fun to see the drama. everyone from neighborhood fat faggot uncle to the police to the courts, and the media, would freak the fuck out. corona corona ki baate sun kar kaan thak gaye. we need new drama
>>11856 True, too bad seething weebs can't take anything negative about Japan without going overly defensive about it
>>11870 Japanese actually have a law that industries registered in Tokyo should not publish anything that is showing incestous relationships between blood related siblings. Most of the 'incest' shows you know and watched are either a) published before 2010 when this law was made or b) made and published by small companies outside Tokyo or c) Isn't actually incest, just step or cousin or childhood friend shit which aren't really taboos in Japan. Something like Yosuga no Sora isn't mainstream, they are a 'niche' made invisible in markets elsewhere because of market restrictions(And such niche markets become visible in the online porn consumption which has less regulation compared to regular medium), mainstream would be something like Kimetsu no Yaiba which had plenty of chances to make the relationship of the MCs(who are siblings) sexual but never once did(MC even happily married his sister to another fag in the story like a good cuck brother).
